ANOTHER PERFECT DAY IN PARADISE

Thanks to our amazing community Rockingham Fun Run / Walk 2006 was another HUGE success.
The atmosphere was fantastic as more than 200 runners & walkers of all ages came over the finish line, encouraged on by spectators and race commentator Brian McCarthy.
The run was started by Chris Waterman from Peel Thunder.
Thanks to the support of Fremantle Ports, industry and local businesses we had so many spot prizes nobody went home empty handed.
Every entry received, finishing certificate, fresh fruit, cool drink and hot dog.

I am pleased to be able to report we raised more than $14,000.00 for Rockingham YouthCARE, thanks to our sponsors, supporters and all our amazing volunteers.

Special mention to City of Rockingham who did an excellent job preparing the course. The feed back from all involved has been really positive with Perth runners once again enjoying the course.
